As I become slowly more familiar with these web 2.0 tools, I am really feeling the pressure to make a "shift happen" in my teaching to support the needs of 21st century learners. Thanks, Andrea. Interesting video--I want to go back and watch this video again to think about it some more. You might be interested in reading about/listening to the Teachers Without Borders project that sent some Canadian teachers to Africa this summer. If you go to EdTechTalk and look up the Women of Web 2.0 podcasts, you can find the show that has Sharon Peters talking about her trip to Africa. It was really interesting...and gives some perspective on the laptop projects in Africa and other countries.
